- Provide individuals with information about personal strengths and areas for growth with respect to attitudes about aging and ageism;
- Stimulate internal dialogue and reflection about how to challenge unconscious prejudices about aging;
- Discover how myths and stereotypes about aging, both positive and negative, shape our personal and professional lives;
- Develop a culture of elderhood based on value and appreciation of age and the aging experience
Disrupt Ageism Training Resources
The Disrupt Ageism Video Training is a series of short videos and written guides to raise awareness of ageism and shift the paradigm of aging to include growth and opportunity. This set of tools can be used in any setting and for a variety of audiences—including aging services team members, consumers, residents or members of the greater community.
